Position: ORB – Apparel Graphic Specialist
This position is covering for a 1 year maternity leave with the possibility for full time employment.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will work closely with Apparel Designers to develop all on-garment graphic applications through staying current with graphic design and apparel adornment trends;
- Interpret and present seasonal theme and graphic direction.
- Complete on-time submission of graphics and colours for approval.
- Manage freelance designers including sourcing and critiquing as well as managing budgets and timelines.
- Assist with trend and colour forecasting.
- Assist with production and marketing materials (cataloguing, in-store sales materials, labels and hang tags).
- Manage Graphic spec packages from development through to production.
- Communicate with off shore vendors to ensure production of on time quality products.
Requirements: A love for fashion, trends, contemporary culture, art and design
- MUST have 1 to 2 years experience in the apparel and/or design industry working with on-garment graphics.
- A Degree in Graphic Design.
- An extensive working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel.
- Very well organized and able to manage and meet deadlines in a high-pressure delivery focused environment.
Experience with technical Drawing and an understanding of garment Fashion.
- Experience with In Design would be an asset.
- Experience in Fine Arts would be a bonus as the applicant will have an opportunity to create and design artwork.
